My Story
My story... Oh, where to begin??? In 2011 I became a Scentsy Consultant for my personal discount only or so I thought! Shortly after becoming a consultant, my life forever changed. My step dad, whom I lived with most of my life, was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 13 short days later. During this horrible time I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd baby! Two weeks after his passing I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks. Life was so hard and Scentsy was the last thing on my mind; until Mandy Carter called me and said, "We have had a horrible year. We should pack up and go to Spring Sprint in Lexington, KY" Spring Sprint is a informational and inspirational meeting Scentsy provides once a year. I decided this could get me out of my funk and we headed out on our 5 hour road trip. I am so thankful for that trip. We bonded so much and we are now so close. We are Scentsy Sisters! Mandy had lost her husband in the same year and bonding time is exactly what we both needed. We cried, we laughed, we learned and we cried some more! We went to the meeting and could not believe the Scentsy Spirit! We immediately felt like we were part of this big Scentsy family! Needless to say we had a BLAST! We came back energized and ready to build our teams. Within 1 week of Spring Sprint I had 4 new team members! Since then I have grown my team to 31 members! I have earned 4 ALL EXPENSES PAID trips to Hawaii, Bahamas, Cancun and just this week DISNEY WORLD. I look forward to that 1 week of the year FREE with just my husband. I am working on earning Disney for my girls and I will make it happen! Taking my girls to Disney has been a lifelong dream of mine. Scentsy really goes all out on these incentive trips! They make you feel like Kings and Queens. My girls will have the ultimate Disney trip and I am forever grateful for the opportunity! A few perks of running your own buisness is of course the extra income and the FREE trips but nothing compares to the friendships I have gained. Scentsy is a wickless alternantive to candles that has amazing owners and warrantied products. Scentsy is so much more than wax and warmers!
